Gah, what a mission. Work has gone nuts again, I lost broadband at home for longer than I care to think about (had to fall back to dialup...urrghh!).
I`m having a hard time trying to get enthusiastic about coding right now, but its the summer. I have been doing other things in my spare time, not playing any games at all, and feel kind of better for it. Can get my work done on time, can spend more time with my wife (when she isnt busier than me that is), have more time for other interests. I believe that the UK game magazine "PC Format" is due to publish an article next month (August 2007) with regard to touchscreens and gaming, so I expect that these forums may have a deluge of news users soon, asking questions. Can I ask that the longer serving forum members here help them as much as possible, because I cannot say how often I`ll be able to log in and help. So... I`m back... for now... (off to read my PMs)

Me too! Summer is here and it's hard to get around to code or even play games. It does feel good to get outside and away from home. Going up to the lake for a week starting July 28, but will be available to help with questions when I get back.

Welcome back it's really nice and often required to take a break and enjoy family and other interest/hobbies. I find it keeps me balance and provides me with different prepective to gaming when I return to it. Enjoy your summer!

Same story here -- just don't have nearly as much time as I used to. More travelling, kid getting bigger, just too much other stuff. And I have burned out a bit on building big campaigns for Janes F/A-18, so time for a break from that. Looking forward to doing some pit building at some point, probably next year.
Going to Mongolia in a week, then taking 10 days vacation in Beijing & Hong Kong on the way back. Looking forward to that. Ripcord |

It can be very expensive. You can buy a precision equatorial mount (just the tripod part) for $10k US. I like Zorlac's Celestron setup though.
Will this be Zorlac in his 50/60s (looks like a Touch-Buddy scope mount controller?): ![]() Last edited by Dodger; 07-24-2007 at 05:43 AM. |
