Default Yea!!!! Are we fully back now? So far it looks good!

Wow! I'm really glad to see the site is back up and running again. The default www.touch-buddy.com page still has a message on it saying we are down. Is that a mistake, or are we still working on some stuff?

Man, it feels good to post here again.

Now I may need to finish up some fixes to the Toolkit, and also a new version of my IL2 profile that I have made since I have been flying online for the first time.

WBK Out!!!

Lol.. yeah we back now. There'll be a few tweaks over the coming weeks, but yeah its back. That main page will soon be redirected.

Thanks all for being so patient. The whole server move was an absolute IT horror story. Lol.

YEAAAAAAH!
Great to see the site back up!!
I have just discovered a progie over at Viperpit called MFD Extractor,
it works in client / server likt TB
So I'm thinkin TB MFD's with MFD extracter runnin together ( full function MFD's!!!!!!!!!) and it is a safe bet I will have some questions.
Thanks for bringin us home.

I had to check out that MFD Extractor and it does look sweet. Nice tool for building your cockpit. I found a video on Youtube: YouTube - MFDExtractor 0.1.7.0 for Open Falcon

Good link WB.
I am hopeing that I can run my TB mfd's with a click through to expose the MFD Extractor stuff on the desk top.
best of both worlds....full button function and real time display SWEET!
But so far I havent been able to get it going in client/server.
Works great in standalone (Local) mode.

I was getting worried for a bit. WBK kept me from climbing a tower w/a rifle when he said you were out of town and knew there was a problem.

It's good to see everthing up and running again.

WBK you finally got online with Il-2, thats great to hear. If you ever feel like more action, down here in NZ on Monday nights is a free for all dogfight night called "Monday Night Madness". We run mission based dogfight's which generally attract up to 15-20 players. It's pretty casual and a whole lotta fun. It'd be great to see you sometime if the time difference isn't too bad.

Hmm.. that sounds interesting. What time is that EST? Or is it EDT now? All these time zones get confusing.

My current squad has not been able to keep members very well. But I'm still hanging in there just to have people to fly with. Also, I signed up for Joint Ops with a buddy who left our squad. That starts this Sunday so I'm looking forward to see how much I like that.

I have been updating my IL2 profile to work better for online play. I have moved buttons around on the toolbar, and made most buttons 'snap' back to their original position (not toggle). This way, you don't have to reset their state on the *TB* tab every time you click Refly in a Dogfight map.
