3D Buttons, Switches etc.

Hi guys,

Just curious, but what application(s) do you use to create the 3D looking switches, dials etc.? Are they purely the work of Photoshop, or built in 3D first with the likes of 3DS Max or Maya, rendered then used?

I did the ones in my profiles with Photoshop.
