When looking at Ruggs and Zorlac's images for the first profiles I found it a little confusing to figure out where/how each image is used. There are about 250 images in Ruggs profile and 188 in Zorlacs. And it's fantastic that we will have so many buttons available, but that's a lot to look through... And when myself and others get going there will be many more.
Can we come up with some naming convention standards for Profile names, Button Names and Image Names to make it easier to know exactly what a button/image is intened for? Looking for suggestions here. Here's mine, and maybe you have some better ones... In general, it would be nice if things could be grouped together. Names could go from General --> to more Specific. Profile Names: GameName-ProfileName-CreatorName Profile Examples:
TabName_Control/ActionName_Action/Object Image Examples:
Again, not being critical here. Just trying to get organized since it looks like I'll use TouchBuddy for every game that I can. And if we get organized from the beginning we won't have such a hard time customizing our profiles. IMO everyone is welcome to take any of my button images and use them in their own custom profiles however they want. All input is welcome. Even if you think I'm an organization nut! ![]()

TB images are as free form as the user wants... and yes, this is going to cause problems in the long run
![]() If you want to come up with a standard, feel free to do so. Document it and post it up here, with sample configs. We can only suggest how to do it, not enforce it...

I agree we can't enforce anything. But hopefully lots of people are going to be looking at the first profiles they use. If they are done well, hopefully others who copy them will follow suit on what they have seen.
![]() And don't get me wrong. I think the current format of the sections in your profile are about as good as you can get with a text config file. Good start there! ![]()

Since I was working on buttons nonstop for about 2 weeks, I just kinda went with the flow. My main concern was duplicating Zorlac's profile first. Once I felt comfortable with it I made my own. But I agree, some kind of naming convention would be a great idea. I've also tried to add more than one type of button for a similar function, as you can see with the Cyrillic version of autopilot, altitude hold, etc.
