Since the 199th profile was my first real effort at making a profile, I see plenty of things that need to be added/changed. You have to realize that I have a full HOTAS setup and stuff like radar scan isn't implemented into the profile because those functions are mapped to my HOTAS. When I make the individual profiles I'll try to be all inclusive with the commands for each plane, that way the new guy who buys a touchscreen can just choose his "plane" config and fly. No muss, no fuss.

Yeah, some of the things I've quickly realised with my first profile are:
1) auto-pilot buttons get out of sync (I have AP on/off states in my profile) 2) buttons you never realised would need to be on the same tab...do actually need to be on the same tab to stop you constantly switching 3) You think its a good idea to map all controls to TB profile....its not, some commands should stay on the HOTAS, and TB should be the 'less used' or 'can never remember the key' or 'i dont need that button in a hurry' or 'i dont use that button too often'. My new golden rule is if I need it often, it gets mapped to the HOTAS, if not, it goes in TB profile - I only got TB this week and have only done one profile. I'm gonna post that up on the forums soon but I expect to do a new/revised profile now that I've had a chance to use it in "anger" on the 504 Air to Ground server ![]() Anyways, thats what I've learnt. |

I have absolutely no idea how to make a button
I need autopilot buttons for FS2004 for autopilot engage, heading hold, altitude hold, approach, yaw damper and descent. The autopilot buttons in ruggbutt's profile with the little green button top right that coms on when pressed would be perfect, just need them with those text on the buttons ![]() Also nice buttons that illuminates for COM1, COM2, NAV1, NAV2 and ADF with an arrow up and arrow down button for the freq changes. Lastly a GEN1 and GEN2 button that displays on and off (or just illuminate) for the King Air generators. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!!! |

repeat was added to "touch" buttons on 23rd Sept
![]() I am toying with the idea of possibly releasing it before I really get started on the active "modules". Would keep you guys happy, and would give me some time to work on the active "plugins" without the pressure of needing another release soon. Not sure yet, need to speak to WBK with regard to the release status of the Tookit first.

Rugbutt where do you get the panel images. I would like to do a full ramp start based off the actual f-15c manual hence the need for the whole left and right consoles. I know lomac doesn't have the full functionality for a ramp start but full panels with clickable bottons it would be a start. Are you for hire as I would rather shell out some scheckles to an expert than having to learn this myself [just spent last 2mths designing a f15e panal for fs] anyways use your profile all the time nice work.
