Yesssss, finally my well awaited monitor arrived this afternoon from HongKong.
But I need some assistance...... OK, got it connected on my ATI x1600 DVI port, with a vga dongle. I have installed the touchscreen program and calibrated it. How should I have the ATI calatlyst set up to get it working properly? There´s too many options... If I have it as just second monitor I don't get any icons, just the desktop, and it's not the whole area. I found that I could use a cloned monitor setting, but then I get the same resolution as my primary monitor and the same view. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a helping hand |

I can't help you with your ATI card, but I do have the TM-868 touch screen. But basically if you have the desktop appearing on your touchscreen, then you have it working in Windows. Does the Touchkit software work? Can you touch the touchscreen and does the mouse go over there? If so, you should be all set..
I have mine setup as a second monitor and since the resolution is different from my main monitor, Windows will not extend the Taskbar onto it. This is expected I believe. They have to be the same resolution for that to happen. I can however drag icons over onto it, but I don't want to do that because I don't use it all the time. I turn it off when not in use. Can you run TB on it and get it working? Did you install the new drivers I recommended in the FAQ thread?

Working blind here right now, will get some screenshots later when I get home on my ATI system. You should be able to use:
"Extend desktop onto this monitor" Which will place the second screen to the right of the first. Your desktop icons will stay on the main screen, but you can move windows and mouse pointer over to the second screen.

hmmm, feeling a bit stupid....I did not realize that I had to drag and drop the TB window to the touch screen.
Yes, now it's working I also upgraded to the latest touchkit I found out there ver 4.3.6.2817 here is a link to it if someone needs it in the future: http://www.egalax.com.tw/drivers/Win....3.6.2817..zip Thanks for all support. Now it's time to go and set up the buttons, and then I'm off in the blue. Last edited by CoNa; 06-13-2006 at 06:37 PM. |

I have no experience with SLI, so I am not sure I can help here.
If the cards are running in SLI mode, with each card doing part of a single screen, then not sure its going to work... but dont take my word on that ![]()
