Does WBK's wmp video plugin play url?

Hi, I am new to these forums. Thanks for having me guys .

I am making a new profile exclusively for rFactor, I am nearly finished after 3 weeks of hard graft, making all of my own graphics with the exception of 1 or 2.
I was looking through the plugins and I would like to use WBK's wmp video plugin, however I would like to know if the player will play URL streaming video, or if it could be configued in such a way to allow for this action?
I have looked all through this plugin but don't seem to be able to find where to put the URL.

I run a league/community of servers for the use of rFactor. On the site we have a program called hotlaps, which gives us live timing, results, hotlaps, records and such, we also broadcast the mojority of our event races and would realy like to add those live broadcasts to a tab under TB.

No, it just lets you browse to a folder on your system and play movies.

You could just find or create a little webpage maybe that plays streaming media. Then just use that as a Plugin. The Plugins in TB are just IE Browser windows and can display any webpage. The only problem is that you cannot 'type' into the Touchbuddy window because to stop it from minimizing your game, it will never take the focus, therefore you cannot type into it.

Thanks for the advise. I have manged to complete a profile. However I am still stuck as to how I can make this possible.

On searching around, using many html codes, I am still yet to make this work.
Streaming media concept seems to escape me. I understand html, and touch buddy and I also have a permanant ip address for the streaming video, so would not need to type into it as I would set the "para=href" to the url and save it.

Any tips?

Just using a Plugin on a tab you can see here that you can stream youtube videos. Just add a Plugin to a tab. Then enter the youtube video page url, and it works.



So, you can stream video from a webpage into TouchBuddy. It is possible. You will have to figure out exactly how to do it they way you want for your profile. I don't know what you want. But if you want a custom page to do just exactly what you want, you will have to figure that out yourself..
