Default Fc2

I got FC2 to run on my PC, had to buy it as I could not get 1.2b to run anylonger.
I m putting TB on it, and well, I have not seen a gauge move yet. Will they>?
Does the radar work?

Thanks. I have followed your set up options, but all I get are MCP Data: Stale? (# of seconds since data received) Though this number just climbs and climbs.

I can manipulate the game, click canopy, have it open close, same for engines, etc.
What I have yet to see happen is the gauges move, and I simply wonder if they do?
My weapon pilons also read empty, is this normal?

What I did thus far,
Install TB, Copy files to
FC> Config>Export.
Modify the file you created, (Thanks)
Point the files to the correct places, .dat... enable the value "True" then start TB load the FC2 profile, then start the game, and play...

As stated in that thread, that profile and other files that I posted are not supported for FC2. I only posted them because I had done a 'little' work on htem and those users really, really wanted to just try and play with them themselves. It is up to you to get them to work at this point.

Maybe just post in that thread and somebody can help you?

I will start working on it, I only wanted to know if the gauges have ever moved in any incarnation of the game, that is all. If it has, I will try to figure out how to do it, I only wish that my laptop was not a Mac at this point as I could work on it at my job most of the week, and get some answers.

Oh yea, all those gauges worked fine in Lockon and Lockon FC. They are written in LUA and I really don't know that language and won't have time to learn it for a while. If you look in the FC2 game folder there is a folder called Temp and a file in there called Error.log. That is where I found two errors logged from our TouchBuddy-export.lua script. So, I just commented those lines out and it started working the gauges in FC2. But it is flakey and stops working sometime. If somebody knows LUA he is just writing out data to the dat file and reading that into TB for the data. Somebody who knows a little LUA programming could fix it with a little effort.

I'll try reading up on the language...
I find it hard to understand the errors, but that is because I never looked at them before, most of mine are this failed to draw or that failed to draw...

Post a copy of your text file, the one with and the one without the comments...

Just look at the touchbuddy-export.lua file that I posted already in that other thread, and search for the word snacko and you will find the lines that I commented out.

Or, read that error.log file that I already mentioned above and it will tell you the exact line numbers that are causing the errors.

I don't really have time to post the same stuff I have already posted before or that you already have if you have downloaded touchbuddy.
