ERROR:A Touchbuddy window has keyboard focus focus

Been a while sinse I have been active with Touchbuddy or my Flight sim.
I was running in client server mode but alas...the client machine took a dump!
So now running (trying) in local mode.
Everything look good but get this..
ERROR:A Touchbuddy window has keyboard focus. Not sending macro.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have always run in local mode and don't remember getting that message. Have you tried first clicking on your game window?

WBK, thanks for the come back.
Been a long time.
I did click off the TB screen but to no avail.
Wonder if it is in the TB config? But nothing that I can spot so far.
Cant think of anything in the profile that would cause this issue.
If you think of anything I might try I would like to hear it.

Are you running TB version 1.3.4?

Does this happen with all profiles? Or just one?

Check your profile and see if the Window tab has the Always On Top checkbox checked? I don't know if this would cause it, but you can turn it off.

A quick search found this stuff:

- (v1.3.0 Rev. 0) - FIX: 14th October 2006
Fixed the offset for the optional ToolTips so it no longer hides under the mouse
pointer. This is due to clicking on the window was actually clicking on the ToolTip
and making the window gain focus, and therefore in Loca mode, making the game minimize.
If the window became active, the macros would not be sent because TouchBuddy will refuse
to send macros if it is itself the active window.

I also found a whole thread about this in our hidden developer's forum when I was having the problem. But it would always go away. I don't think you can see that thread though. There was no specific answer to the problem I was having, as Zorlac did not have the problem at all and could not fix a bug he did not see. And I don't remember many, if any, people posting about this. For me, it only happened the first time I started a game, after the first touch and minimize, it fixed itself..

I don't seem to have v1.3.4 and the link in TB is dead.

Ooops.. Actually, I don't think there is a TB 1.3.4. I was confused, sorry.

The latest version of the touchbuddy.exe should say 1.3.0.17. He made a version 18 and forgot to change the version numbers, so there were two version 17s. If you have 17 you probably have the correct one because we only hosted the latest one.

For some crazy reason, Zorlac hosted the TB downloads from his own personal website and just linked them here. Last December that link died and so the download did not work. when I found out I uploaded the copy that I had, which was 1.3.0.17 (really 18) I think. And I may have changed the name to 1.3.4 in our downloads when I did that? I don't think I did, but it could be.

Anyhow, we moved sites recently and all our downloads don't work yet. Erik, our new Webmystrio is working it fixing that. In the meantime, check you can download them here.
