Hello,
Yesterday I setup a client/server configuration by installing a virtual machine on my computer with VMPlayer, so I do not have two physical computers but only one (host) and the virtual machine on it. Everything works fine but I have a strange behaviour: 1) If I start TB setting server mode in my PC (host) and client mode in the virtual machine, the application does not send keystrokes from client to server 2) But if I start TB setting client mode on both sides and send a test keystroke (push wathever button) on my PC first and then close the profile window in the PC and start TB in server mode in the PC, then both sides communicate to each other without problems. Any ideas about what is causing this? My PC (host) runs Win7 64bits and virtual machine runs Win XP 32bits (firewall is off, just in case). I used the IPs provided by the properties window of the VMWare network adapter, which is installed as part of the VMPlayer tools. It seems the connection is not really alive (case 1) until you press any button on host and then switch TB from client to server mode on host closing the profile window but without closing TB application (case 2)... I can live with that but this is just to know why this happens, or to know if I did something wrong in the configuration process. Cheers Last edited by geloxo; 06-20-2010 at 03:04 PM. |

Sounds like you have it setup right if it works at all. But I have never used a virtual pc, so cannot help there.
