Ok here is my 1st post,
I just got my touch screen and downloaded TB.......Nice!!! I set up the screen, it works and installed TB. I am in local mode and can drag the Lomac screens from the main monitor to my touch screen and they fit just right.......Nice!!! BUT when I touch the keys I get a beep that says the screen recognizes my finger.....in a good way!!! But the keys are not pressed. So I bring the mouse pointer over to the touch screen and left click on any of the buttons or tabs and they are activated ?? Why does my finger not work? I am running the latest TB version. |

which screen did you get?... this is almost certainly a configuration issue on the Touchscreen drivers (not the game, not touchbuddy)
The system knows your touchscreen is on the right (or left), but the drivers think the "touch" area is still on the primary screen. You press the screen, and the screen beeps because its sen the touch, but its trying to rpess buttons on the main screen area, not the area on the touchscreen. Go and configure the touchscreen and enable any multiple monitor options. Give me 5 mins and i`ll go dig out the post by WBK about how to configure it. EDIT: Try looking here -> http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261 and also try the latest drivers from here -> http://www.egalax.com.tw/

What screen do you have? If it is a TM868, be sure to turn off the "right click" feature.

I just got to work so will check all this when I get home. I have a new Dynamix wide screen monitor I got off ebay. (I beleive the original maker is panasonic).
I noticed that when I touch the touch screen the mouse pointer shows up on the main monitor and attempts to "click" an area that is in relationship to where I am touching the touch screen. |

that will be the problem then... the drivers think the tiuch area is on the primary screen, and not on the second screen. If you can fix that issue, everything will start working (unsure if the egalax drivers work with the panasonic/dynamix screens, check for new dynamix drivers first)

Ok it now works. This thread fixed it,
http://www.touch-buddy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261 I did not have monitor 2 set up as the touch screen, so the program thought I was attempting to press monitor 1 as the touch screen. Thank you for the SUPER FAST response guys. If there is anything I can to do to advance the TouchBuddy system let me know. |
