local default

Changing the default to client instead of local when starting TB on client machine.
Can this be done?( by me..not askin for a revision)
I know..I know..what a cry baby, but for the life of me I cant seem to remember to select client b4 I launch the sim

What about if TB starts up with the last setting used? Last settings would
have to be saved somehow and somewhere.

Great would also be to have a tool- or option-bar in TB to do all the settings
which currently has to be done in the touchbuddy.cfg file

I know this is all a lot of work but I am just giving some ideas.

Just got my TB work in CS mode on two machines! WORKS GREAT !

I see that I can set the default position for the initial TB image via the config,
n that helps alot ... thanks.
Don't mean to pester or rush ya..just curious.

Lets see:

save last config used - no, not yet

a window to deal with touchbuddy.cfg options - no, but working on it

default startip in client/local/server mode - yes

This has now been added to v1.3

There will (probably) be a standalone application in v1.4 that will allow you to edit the touchbuddy.cfg/touchbuddy-local.cfg config files with a point-n-click interface. Making it "standalone" means less code sitting around in memory when TouchBuddy itself is running.
