Hello folks,
after using a lot of your excellent profiles i decided to try to make one for Armed Assault.... It will be a pretty simple profile since i am not a born talent at the pc. After getting used to programm my 1st buttons & makros i now have the problem, that when i am in ArmA the makros dont work and my gun is shooting instead - everytime a touch the screen, like i would click the left mouse. It seems that my profile is still a kind of "desktop" while in game. But when i open Wordpad instead of the game i can see my makros send without any problems...!? Any suggestions? |

The user Snake_Eyes has a ArmA profile in the works, so might be worth seeing if he has any ideas... Snake_Eyes!! HELP!!
Are you using a touchscreen? Are you running in local mode, or client/server? While looking at the normal windows desktop, and you press the touchscreen, does the mouse cursor move to the touchscreen, or stay on your primary screen?

OK, looks like my profile is fine and ArmA is the problem... When i use another profile ArmA still responds to my TS - my head is moving and my gun fires when i touch the TS...
Maybe someone knows what to do - any preferences to be made in Arma? |

Just had a thought about this, but cant test it right now (installing Vista full release in VMWare). Will test my thought tomorrow....
(Snake_Eyes, if you happen to see this message before I post tomorrow, can you tell me if you are running in local mode or client/server?)

Morning.
Running in Client/Server Z. I don't have the problem of my weapon firing when I touch any "command" buttons on the TB Screen. Should I upload my (forever being tweaked) profile now? Will go off and find out how I upload. |

Righty Ho. Have uploaded my ArmA TB Profile, and it is in the Downloads Section.
Have removed my TeamSpeak Module, and TeamSpeak Comms Channel Switches off the Comms Panel. (Because these wouldnt be any good to anyone, unless a member of Tactical Gamer). Its still work in progress (as always)! Give this a go Monty, and see if it stops your weapon firing? |

I think this is the Link? Never uploaded anything before! I do have a profile with a Plugin, showing a High Res Map of the entire island (on its own Map Tab). Trouble is, the upload is 14Mb (because of the detailed map), and the site limit is only 10Mb. So can't do it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Snake_Eyes; 01-20-2007 at 12:45 PM. By the way - i still think that it is not a prob with any of the profiles. It doesnīt matter which profile i use, ArmA always recognizes my finger-touch as a mouse click an fires the weapon.
Since i use touchbuddy i only run in lokal mode - what do i have to do for client / server? When i start in client mode i can touch about 3 times and touchbuddy crashes / hangs up Plz help ![]() |
