The Toolkit Validation Check is not a total check. It only looks for some basic mistakes.
Do you still have your .bak backup? Rename that to .tbc and try loading it in TouchBuddy. The Toolkit may have made a mistake. I have not seen this error, but I know of one bug where if you rename a tab, you loose all of the buttons on that tab. But that's the only bug I know of right now. Whenever you have a problem with a profile, always go back to your backup 'before' you try to re-load your Profile in the Toolkit. Or you will then overwrite your 'good' backup, with the new 'broken' profile, and thus loose your good backup. Do these tests and post back... Good Luck. ![]()

Were you doing that copy and pasting manually, or with the Toolkit?
I don't like seeing all of these pesky .bak files in my profile folder.... until one saves my a$$.

As you seem to have this uncanny knack of totally breaking TB on a regular basis, can I ask a favour? If you do ever get TB to CTD due to some dodgy profile option somewhere, can you send me the TBC file and tell me its broken? I probably wont need the images files. This would at least give me a chance to look and see what imaginative ways there are to totally screw it up and maybe put some code in to prevent it happenning.
The problem when the coders of the applications test the application is that they know how it works... and subconsciously they also know how it DOESNT work and avoid doing that without thinking about it. They just dont do unusual things because they know it doesnt work like that, and they know that would be a very bad thing to do. "Users", on the other hand, are far more imaginative and destructive ![]()
