Sorry if this has been addressed before - I'm basically doing a cram course in TB101- but I was wondering can most touch screens be used in conjunction with a laptop?
My laptop has a standard port to plug in a monitor. Should that work, or do you need some features that might be different on video cards found on standard PCs? I'm in the process of updating my PC but not there yet. thanks! |

I think so, but I have not done it myself. Maybe others will respond that have.

If the gfx card in the laptop can do dual-head display, then there should be no reason why it shouldnt work (have done this exact thing on three seperate laptops now)

I have a laptop with a vga port thats used for projectors for presentations. I tried connecting the Touchscreen to this and it worked no problem. I use my laptop to test and debug my profiles.
