Default Scroll bars when using the toolkit??

When I create a profile the skins window when u place all the objects does not have any scroll bars on it. Is there a way to turn them on or does my resolution have to be much bigger than my touch screen profile so I can fit it all on screen

Currently I run it on a laptop - its screen is 1024x768 --- I create a profile with this size but cant get to the right edge or the bottom as these are off screen due to the toolbars

Cheers

JP

I agree that's a great idea, I'm creating profiles in 1024x768 but am unable to see the bottom of the tabs or indeed the tab bar within TBTK.

Having scroll bars would be a great help.

Thanks in advance,

Bear

Sorry, I was on vacation....

Yes, you need to design the profile with a resolution larger than the actual profile because the Toolkit has to not only display the profile screen area, but also all of the tools to build it.

Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like for you, and where you would like the scrollbars? Just the profile screen area, or the entire window. Not sure if I can do the latter... Then maybe I'll add it to the list of things to add...

I'm unable to post an image as I don't have a webpage of my own but I've sent it to you via pm/email.

A scrollbar on the right hand side to allow scrolling of the active tab and a fixed tab buttons locked at the bottom of the working window, separate to the active tabs themselves would help if it's at all possible.

Thanks for your work WBK and hopefully you can find a way to implement this.

Cheers mate,

Bear

Hey HuggyBear,

You don't need your own webpage to post a picture. Most people uploaded the pic from their computer to one of these websites, and then they can put a link in their post to the pic there.

ImageShack® - Hosting
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

You should certainly learn how to do this, as it is very easy and handy for posting pics. But I'll pm you my email as well, in case you have trouble with this.

Thanks,
WBK

It's possible to download it to the forum also. a bit small but I think you can see what it looks like.

I would like bars at the bottom and to the right in the "work area" if possible.

That is too small. So, the tabs at the bottom are off the screen as well? Scrollbars only on the Skins tab work area would not fix that. I can't really tell from that small pic.

Okay here goes:

I use a laptop with a res of 1200x800 to create profiles with a res of 1024x768. For my example I've created a background picture with the numbers 1-10 running down the screen. As you can see the 9 and 10 have been cut off due to the limited res.

Hopefully you can see what I'm after, the main request being a scrollbar on the right hand side of the screen as indicated by the red ellipse.

Another request would be for the tabs to always be visible at the bottom of the screen, as indicated by the blue ellipse, independent of the working pane. Sort of like the way the tabs are always visible at the top of your browser page, even when you scroll down on the page.

Anyway, thanks for your work WBK.

Ok, Thanks. I see what you mean. Actually, the tab buttons are not off the screen at the bottom, just covered up by the big work area. I'll probably just have to add scrollbars to that area and make it smaller when the window is too small to display it all.

I'll add this to my list. It will be a while, and there is other stuff before this.
