Hi again fellas,
I had some problems when I was trying to make my own profile due to my own mistakes.... and decided to do an uninstall. After I unistalled both TB and TBtoolkit, I reinstalled and when I fire them up and select WB's profile, I keep getting windows popping up for the 4 plugins that come with that profile. It makes no difference what i select ie save open or cancel, they just keep reappearing. They are physically in WB's IL2 profile already. Also, now when I select "tab" in TBToolkit I keep getting a whole other toolkit screen showing up. Each time I select a tab, I get another main toolkit window. The Toolkit comes with a uninstall option but TB did not. I think the problem may lie with the uninstall where apparently some files did not get uninstalled. What do I need to do to start all over fresh with TB? I do not have the option on my puter to just go back in time and reset it. Thanks in advance.

TB does not come with an installer. All you do is download the .zip file and unzip it into a folder. If you don't want TB on your system anymore, you just delete the folder you put it in and it is gone. That is it.
The Toolkit does come with an installer (ie. setup.exe). You can go to Control Panel, and select Add/Remove Programs just like most other programs and uninstall it from there. That should do it. I'm not quite sure what you are having problems with. Can you attach your profile's .tbc file and I can take a look. Maybe I will see what you are saying? When you say "I keep getting windows popping up for the 4 plugins that come with that profile.", Are you trying to get rid of all my profiles and remove them from the profile? If so, to remove them from being used in this profile, you just delete those Plugin windows from the profile. Click on the Plugin window (clicking on the path text seems to be the easiest way to get that window selected). When you have the Plugin window selected, you will see tiny little 'resizing' boxes at each corner and on the sides. That's how you know it's selected. Then to delete it, you can press the Delete key on your keyboard, or click the red X on the Toolbar. If you want to completely delete the Plugin from you computer, do the same as above, and go to the Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall it from there. I'm not sure what you are saying with this: "Also, now when I select "tab" in TBToolkit I keep getting a whole other toolkit screen showing up. Each time I select a tab, I get another main toolkit window." You might be talking about the Tab Editor. It is supposed to appear when you click the Tab Editor tool on the Toolbar. It doesn't matter which tab you are currently on, it just lets you edit all of the tabs in the profile at once. Hope this Helps! WBK

I did use the add remove programs option for the toolkit. I also just deleted TB file from the hard drive. However, I think there were still files left on my C: root. Not sure but I think they may have something to do with the plugins; ie setup and some .dlls.
Anyway, When I now load up TB, and select profile (WB il2 profile) I keep getting windows popping up for each plugin. Prior to this reinstall that never happened. Now I cannot seem to shake em. The plugins are installed in your profile so I do not know why the program keeps asking on loadup if I want to open, save, or cancel each time. I'll do another complete uninstall and start all over. Thanks WB. ~S~

"the program keeps asking on loadup if I want to open, save, or cancel"
Ok, I know this problem. The Plugins must be installed on your computer and the profile must point to the .vbd file 'that came with that setup'. If you have uninstalled the plugins, then install them again. I have the profile pointing to the Plugins folder that came with the profile. Make sure to copy the .vbd file from each Plugin into that folder. (Assuming you didn't change the profile to point to a different folder for the .vbd files.) Anytime you get the Message from Internet Explorer that says "Open, Save, or Cancel" when it is trying to load a file, it is because it doesn't know what to do with that file. In this case, the .vbd. You have to make sure that the Plugin that is installed, goes with the .vbd IE is trying to load. And when I update a Plugin with bug fixes or new features, you need to install it, and also copy the new .vbd file over the old one the profile is pointing to. Let me know if this fixes the problem.
