Here is a nice setup where you don't need any vga.
Just plug it in to the usb. Nanovision: Mimo 7-Inch USB Displays Make Your Desktop Look Like a Battleoid Cockpit and the price is not that bad either. Anyone going to Korea??? ![]()

Have one on order from gadgeteers. CC just charged, so I expect it in a week or so. Got the version with touch and webcam. Can't wait to see how it works with TB.

Gents, just got back from a trip to Korea and picked one of these up. It works exactly as advertised. The screen is a clear & sharp 800x480, the touchscreen works great, and it uses only a USB connection. The cable supplied forked into two plugs (I presume for power), but it worked fine for me with only one plugged in. No other power supply is needed (although there is a port for an AC adapter), no video connection; just USB. It cost me $160 American. I love it.

Indeed, it seems to work exactly like any other touchscreen monitor, and with TouchBuddy as well. Once installed, it can be seen and configured within the Windows Display Properties, or with it's own driver interface (which seems to work better, and is where you must set the orientation - landscape or portrait). It absolutely can't be beaten for the cost ... but I still can't find it available anywhere outside Korea.

Just be aware that only the 740 is a touchscreen. The others are monitors but have no touchscreen capability. When I visited their site, it said the 740 was currently unavailable, and listed it at $199, which is about $40 more than what I paid in Korea. I still know of nothing else available here stateside that works as well for that price, so hopefully it's available soon!
