What size would be the optimal for using one screen. 17" 19" or 20"?

Do you mean one touchscreen to couple with your main monitor?
If you decide not to go for the classic small 8" way (800x600), than I'd guess you also have some kind of graphics knowledge required to make your own profiles in bigger resolutions...
If this is the case, the bigger the better, $$$ cash allowing ;-)

Did you take a look at those awesome DCS BlackShark profiles made by DDastardly ?

Most of the profiles that have been uploaded here were designed to fill a 800x600 screen. TB does have a feature to rescale them to smaller or larger though. You should think about the profile you plan to use, and how big it is. If you have a bigger touchscreen, you can always display other things on the screen as well as the profile.

I just recently bought a Planar 15" that I am using for IL-2 right now with WBK's 2.1 profile.

I'm finding that with the more screen area/buttons to push, the more attention that you have to expend in finding what you want to select and the more chances of missing something in the main sim window.

Now, it might get easier in time to go right to what you want, and I would still recommend get the biggest you can afford, but realize that it most likely would be best use just to make the buttons bigger and not put alot most stuff on it.

I have only had it a week now so take that with a grain of salt, but the busier and smaller the selection area, the more you have to turn and focus on the touch screen to hit the right spot
