I suspect that is the exact same monitor..with a different Mfg. label on it.
But I can understand your concern. You might want to campare the specs of the one you are looking at with those of the Innovateck TM 868 Here is what I found on the 868 -TFT Active Matrix Mobile LCD Monitor -Use Sharp 8'' TFT LCD display panel -Touch screen USB interface -High View angle Up 45 degrees; Down 60 degrees; L/R 65 degrees -Contrast 200 : 1 -LCD brightness (cd/m2): 400 -Resolution (pixel): 640 RGB x 480 -Touch screen interface: USB port -Operating voltage: 12V DC -Multi-monitor touch screen support -VGA input (15-pin D-sub) -USB interface -NTSC/ PAL auto switching -2 RCA video inputs -1 RCA audio input Package Include: - 8" Touchscreen TFT LCD Monitor -Connection cable with RCA / VGA for easy connection -USB Cable -220-110V AC Home Adapter -Touch Screen Driver Software -Infrared Remote -Instruction Manual Good luck! |

Ripcord, no chance of ordering off Ebay (Hong Kong)? I got my TM868 in just a few days for around $150. But, I'm in the USA, so maybe you have more difficulties getting such things where you are.

I ordered my touch screen off eBay in Australia, but the vendor is in Hong Kong, and that is where the unit was despatched from. Full tracking and no problems.
My screen is from Skypro Industries, but it looks very similar to many others....uncanny. Zip |

Well, yeah, but the fun part is Russian customs. I don't want to take a big haircut on the import duties and 18% VAT. Trying to work it through some local chinese importers to just bring it in as a sample. If I can make that happen, that's the way to go, I guess. Just it's a hassle and it's so damn tempting to just 'go get one' when you find one available -- but there is always the worry that it isn't quite the right thing, might not work, etc.

Hi everyone,
just got my touchscreen. There's no indication of make or model, but the company that sold them on eBay is offering some all the time. Bidding starts at 1,00 Euro and for the ones I followed ended up a bit below 200,- Euros shipping included. I can confirm Touch-Buddy works with it and it's great (I mean Touch-Buddy on a tocuhscreen, and that's apart from any gadget-fever you might feel for such a high-tech item) .Can't wait for Black Shark, this baby is going to do wonders when you have to set up you "ship" before you enter combat. Once the shooting starts, you still need a HOTAS (I crashed the SU-25T yesterday, trying to find the "Toggle Flaps" button while I was being shot at, turning away and too low to the deck for comfort). Might give it a try for F4AF too... Here's a link for a touchscreen from the same company that still in offering : http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/8-TFT-LCD-To...QQcmdZViewItem Thanks to all the guys that are working on TB, the Toolkit and the profiles, we sure owe you. Kind regards, Bart |

Yeah, I'm finally going to get one of these -- hopefully. I found a used one on E-bay for about $105 plus ground shipping.
http://www.lilliputweb.net/ts809.html I'm going back to the US for the holidays so I'll load up on gear while I'm there, and this baby is at the top of the list. Sure hope this finally ends my quest. Ripcord |

I fly Janes FA-18 almost exclusively, but I have F4:AF and plan to get into that more next year. That thing is a steep learning curve, holy cow!
I will try to create a TB profite for janes FA-18, since we know that it can be done (thanks again for that Zorlac). I already have 70% of it mapped out in my head -- pretty basic, given that the real thing has a touch screen right there up front (were your ICP would be in the F-16). These days I'm spending almost all my available spare time finishing up missions for campaigns that I build for Janes FA-18. I'll finish those up and probably not start any new ones for a while -- I'm planning to just fly a bit more, work on my TB profile, and like I said, start learning allied force. Ripcord |

hurah! Good to hear to are going to able to join the TouchBuddy users
![]() I did notice that model has a native resolution of 640x480, so dont forget to check out the profile scaling option when you load in other people's profiles. When you get your touchscreen, and start building a profile, dont hesitate to post questions here... thats what we are all here for. (I won my first ebay auction last week, and should be receiving a 19" touchscreen overlay for my secondary screen. Expected price was £139 + shipping, auction ended at £58 + shipping, so I think it was a bargain)
