no

i'm able to install various versions of touchkit and drivers just fine, and winxp detects and shows the usb touch device under hardware just fine also

i can set to multiple monitors and designate the correct monitor, and the calibration screen comes up correctly. just no response when i press and hold the blinking x

i've tried running touchbuddy on the screen also but no response from that either

In the calibration utility Tools Tab there's an option to Clear and Calibrate, have you tried that? Also on the Setting Tab make sure Normal Mode is chosen in the bottom center box with the Mouse avatar next to it. On the Display Tab make sure you choose your monitor in the upper graphic and "Map This Diplay to the Monitor".
